evidence (ongoing)
This is an ongoing series of photographic works tracking my obsession with tracks: with traces, and evidence of something or someone having once been there, wherever there might be. One way of putting it is as the coming together of nouns and verbs: with the way in which things are criss-crossed with signs of actions upon or within them. Movement and stasis, organic and inorganic, all pressed together. The fascination of forensics: everything imprinted with evidence.
40 photographs from this series, printed on watercolour rag paper, were exhibited with José Francisco Azevedo, in Fractions/Fracções, at Artistas Unidos, Lisbon, 2013.
